Orange You Glad I Didn't Say Banana?
From TheBump.com:
Continuing the march towards normal proportions, baby's legs now outmeasure the arms. And, finally, all four limbs have functional joints. Your fetus is squirming and wiggling like crazy down in the womb, though you probably still can't feel the movements.
We borrowed from Kelsi the National Geographic special, In the Womb: Multiples, and watched it last night. (Wouldn't Womb and the Multiples be an awesome name for a band?) I learned that twins in the womb like to kick each other in the face a lot. Or maybe that was the slo-mo video of CGI babies they showed over and over again.

are you going to do belly pics? I want to see some pretty kathy twin belly. i mean, you're posting pics of your uterus. I feel like some kind of belly pic is justified.
ReplyDeleteMy sister has twin boys and during an ultrasound, one of the boys was grabbing at the other one's privates. I'm sure they kicked each other in the face, too.
ReplyDeleteKelsi, I was just working on my first belly pic post last night. I didn't want to post any of the pictures until my parents and in-laws had visited so I could surprise them when they saw the real deal.
ReplyDeleteChildEngineer (wait, is this Lizzy?), I hope your sister got a picture of that "miracle."
(Yes, it is I). I don't think she got a picture, at least I didn't see it.
ReplyDeleteJunk-grabbing in the womb would have been a lovely memory to have a picture of for later.
ReplyDeleteI got to see (but no picture) my kiddo kick at the ultrasound probe. My family thought that was hilarious.
